AZURITE & MALACHITE are often found together as a form of copper ore. Beads often look like little planet Earths with their blue - green patterns. ABOUT YOUR LIGHTSTREAMS NECKLACE

Healing Quality Gemstone Spheres send vibrational messages to the body that are pure, strong and consistent with the mission of the stone. When shaped into spheres a gemstone's energy radiates gently and evenly from all surfaces allowing the body to receive maximum benefit. Emanations from spheres strung and worn as necklaces are able to reach and impact all of the body's major energy centers.

Wearing a necklace with intention
A necklace may be worn with general intent and be given full reign to do what it does best OR it may be given a specific focus that falls within the range of its capabilities. Appreciating a gemstone's assistance enhances its effects.

When to remove a necklace
A necklace that is right to wear supports your goals, feels friendly and/or looks appealing. You miss it when its not on. A cycle of wear can last anywhere from hours to months. Some individuals wear a certain necklace only to bed or while they work on a specific project. Others wear one around the clock. The more attention you pay to how it is working with you the better your results.

If a necklace breaks it may be time to give it a rest.
If you notice that you are feeling a little out of balance or irritable wear the necklace less or intermittently.
It may be time to try another gemstone.
If you forget to put it on it may telling you don't need it for now.
Sometimes a necklace just needs a good cleaning or needs to be given a new focus. Try washing your necklace, reviewing your progress, and making a revised plan.

How to clean a necklace
-Most gemstones can be cleansed periodically by running them under alternating hot and cold running water for several minutes and placing them in the sun for two or more hours. Some necklaces (i.e. Carnelian, Aventurine), especially when worn a lot, need more frequent cleaning.

-Do not put Aventurine or Rose Quartz in the sun. Their color may fade.

-Avoid using water on absorbent stones such as Lapis, Turquoise, or Malachite. The water will not affect their healing properties but will dull their finish. Periodically cleanse them with a soft cotton cloth and set them in the sun.

-Do not put Leopardskin Jasper in the sun unless you plan to pass it on to another wearer. The sun will erase the information it has gathered about you.

All custom necklaces are strung on silk thread. The overall necklace size may vary up to two inches more or less in patterns where the number of repetitions is critical. Personal necklaces are often designed for a specific person and/or a specific issue and can be made of any combination of gemstones, sizes and lengths.

You may find that you are not wearing your necklace as often as you did at first. Sometimes a necklace just needs a good cleaning or needs to be given a new focus. Try washing your necklace with alternating hot and cold water and setting it in the sun, reviewing your progress, and making a revised plan. Your necklace will also last longer if you keep it clean. With daily wear a necklace should last about six months before it needs restringing.

Some of our spherical and chip necklaces are pre strung when we get them. They are not strung on silk thread and are not hi-graded by us. The gemstones are still of healing quality and the cost is lower. The spherical bead necklaces have
8 mm beads, are 28" long and the chip necklaces range from 30"- 36". Check the price list or call for availability.

Sometimes we have different shapes of beads in stock such as nuggets, rhondels, barrels and rice shapes. These are usually higher quality beads at lower prices than we can get in round spheres. We often have sugilite, citrine, tourmaline, opal, labradorite, etc.
