Why?
When I get behind my camera, time disappears. As I pay closer attention to my surroundings, I become absorbed in what I find.
I am not looking for interesting places to go. I am simply looking for things that spark interest, even in the in the most unlikely of places. Life and beauty so often lurk just beneath the surface.
As I focus, the “ordinary” becomes transformed, revealing “extraordinary” life within.
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare? W.H. Davies
Start Here
HERE. Right where you are now.
Every journey we begin, every action we take, every word we speak, every thought we entertain, all have one thing in common: they happen “Here”.
What does “Here” look like? Is it so familiar that we no longer see it? Do we assume it’s so boring that it’s not worth attention? Are we too busy to stop and enjoy it?
